India Ink has been around for thousands of years. Originating in China at least 1250 years before Christ. In the 18th century, this ink was part of the English trade with India hence the name. It was not only used for writing but also for the art of scrimshaw. Our black India ink comes in a clear glass bottle with approximately 2 fluid ounces of ink.
