Bubble blowing has been depicted in many sketches and paintings dating back to the 1500s. Both children and adults blew bubbles in the 18th century for fun as well as to experiment with scientific principles. While clean tobacco pipes were sometimes used for this function, many also used hollow reeds. Bowls, cups, and clam shells have been depicted as being the vessels in which to hold the bubble solution.

Our bubble blowing kit comes with 2 ounces of bubble solution housed in a glass bottle. it also comes with two 6-inch reeds and a clam shell.
