Cornhusk dolls were very common in the early days of America. The dolls were usually made in the fall from the husks pulled off the dried ears of corn during harvest time. Cornhusk dolls were originally made by Native Americans, who then taught the colonists how to make them. These dolls are handmade here at Tanawha Trading Post. You have a choice between a skirted doll or one with pants or both. With these dolls, you can make doll clothes for them. The size of the dolls may vary, according to corn husk size.
