Before the arrival of European trade goods, Native Americans adorned their arms with tattoos, quilled cuffs, and bracelets made of copper and bone. European traders brought metal, especially silver, that Native Americans used to create bracelets. Metal bracelets could be simple bands or stamped and decorated. Armbands were worn both on bare arms and over shirt sleeves. The bracelets were worn by both men and women. Our cuff bracelets are handmade of copper, brass, and German silver sheets. They measure 6 3/4 inches long and come in different widths 1 inch and 1/2 inch. You can adjust the size by flexing out or compressing the two ends to fit your wrist size.
