During the 18th century, flint wallets were used to store spare gun flints. Some wallets also had other pockets to hold things such as tools, patches, and other items for maintaining a flintlock. Our wallets are hand-made from cowhide leather. They feature three small pockets for holding flints, a sleeve for holding a vent pick, and two larger pockets one with a flap and one without. Each wallet measures 4 3/4" x 3" when closed.
