Harvest tokens have been around for centuries. They have had many different shapes, names, and meanings through the years. It is believed that they were originally a pagan ritual to satisfy "The Goddess of the Grain". By the 18th century, this belief had died out and harvest tokens were used for other traditions. One such tradition was in rural communities young men would braid together strands of straw in the shape of a heart and give it to a girl that they liked. If the next time they met, the girl was wearing the token on her clothes close to her heart then he knew that she returned his affection.

Our harvest love tokens are made of wheat stalks and tied with your choice of green, maroon, pink, red, or white ribbon.
