Hand-turned from maple wood and finished with mineral oil, this wood signal whistle is a great accessory for reenactments and can serve as a functional tool while hiking or camping.  Crafted to produce a vibrant tone, this whistle is a reproduction of the whistles used for giving commands by officers in the field and on ships during the Revolutionary War. The whistle measures 3 1/2" long x 1" in diameter. Accompanying the whistle is a 28-inch real leather strap.
